alaska in pictures

Our trip to Alaska June 21-27 this summer was fantastic. It was just the 2 of us and we had such a great time. We were in awe of our surroundings, but most of all, we grew in love and admiration for each other.

Moving....again....

Since I am playing catch up, I will be going back over the last few months and posting some pics from various big events in our lives over the last few months. Obviously moving from PA to NC was one of those big events. It was really hard to move again. We never particularly wanted to move to PA from KY, but it kind of grew on us after 3 years and it proved hard to leave. It is always the relationships you form with people that make moving so hard. We have really missed so many people but especially those from our church and our neighbors. Samuel has really missed his best buddy Justin too. They were in preschool together for 2 years and then were in the same kindergarten class last year until we left in March. Of course both of the kids have really missed the sweet little girl next door, Avery, and I have missed her too-- and Nikki. Now I am getting teary and have to stop. Moving is hard.
